Synapse — Network

An agent and a register · By invitation

Doing it alonewas the only option. We’re building the alternative.

An invitation-only network for fund managers, LPs, lenders and family offices, run by an agent that lives in your inbox. Tell it what you hold and what you’re hunting; it reads the whole register and writes when something fits.

MEMBERS — VERIFIED ONLY

PROVIDERS — HELD AT THE DOOR

DEAL FLOW — ONLY WHAT FITS

01 / The problem

The biggest industry in the world still runs on who you already know.

Every investor and lender has a narrow lane — deal size, sector, structure, stage — and almost none of it is written down anywhere. There is no aggregated way to match a specific deal to the specific capital whose criteria actually fit. Cold calls, cold email, LinkedIn: all dying as ways to build trust.

A.

A fund manager raising a first or second fund

B.

A company raising its next round

C.

A business seeking acquisition financing — or a buyer

An industry moving hundreds of billions of dollars, and the only tool anyone trusts is a warm introduction. So we built the place warm introductions come from.

02 / The membership

The standing headaches of this business, quietly handled.

An invitation-only membership built around the people in the room — never the people selling to them.

++++SYNAPSE AGENTMEMBERS — VERIFIED, ON THE REGISTERPROVIDERS — HELD AT THE DOORDEAL FLOW — ONLY WHAT FITS

The vetting is done before you meet

Every name on the register arrived through a conversation, not a signup form. When an introduction reaches you, the diligence on the person is already behind it.

Deal flow in your lane, only

Your criteria are written down once — size, sector, structure, stage. What reaches you fits them. Nothing to triage, no decks from strangers.

Raising? The ground is already warm

Signal that you're in market and the members whose appetite matches — LPs, anchors, co-investors — already know. The blind search collapses into a short list.

Covered, never pitched

Fund formation, banking, legal, data rooms — vetted providers wait at the door and enter only when you ask. Your inbox stays yours.

03 / The agent

An agent that lives in your inbox.

No new software to learn. Forward it a deck, a term sheet, an LP’s note — or just write a line about what you’re looking for. It files what you hold, watches the register, and writes to you when something fits. Reply in a word and it acts.

Fwd: Meridian Credit Fund III — LP materials

SYNAPSE

Read. Filed as a deal: $180M target, lower-middle-market senior secured, North America, $2M minimum. Reaches 6 members whose mandate fits. File it?

YOU

file it

SYNAPSE

Filed. Two members asked in within the hour — both verified, both inside your stated lane. Their notes are below.

01

Forward it anything

Decks, term sheets, an LP thread. It reads them, files them as a position, a deal or a mandate, and reads it back to you before a single member sees it.

02

It works while you don't

Every mandate on the register is matched against every other, continuously. Nothing reaches you without the reason it was sent, written for you.

03

One word acts

Yes. Pass. In for 2. Bring them in. No login, no forms — the introduction is made, the ask is filed, the position opens.

04

It learns your lane

What you take, what you pass, and what actually led to a conversation. The longer you're on the register, the narrower and better the flow.

EVERYTHING IT DOES IS MIRRORED IN THE APP AT SYNAPSENETWORK.CO. THE INBOX IS THE INTERFACE; THE SITE IS THE RECORD.

04 / Heard across the table

“This is what investment banks used to do before the internet — find people and connect families. It’s not that this hasn’t happened before. It hasn’t evolved with the way people do business today.”

05 / Principles

Access is the product. Full stop.

Paid, flat, never a percentage

Membership is a paid subscription, quoted in the admission conversation. No fee is contingent on closing and no fee is a cut of a deal — we are not brokers, and nothing we recommend is bought.

Exclusivity protects value

Admit everyone and the register is worth nothing. Verification is the moat — every name on it is worth knowing.

Reciprocity is the price

Membership requires something to give and something you need. The network only works because every seat holds both.

Your book stays yours

What you forward the agent is read for you alone. Nothing you hold is shown to another member until you say so, and identity opens only when interest is mutual.

06 / The calendar

Some introductions only happen across a dinner table.

Alongside the matching layer, Synapse hosts private events — closed-door dinners, allocator roundtables, city salons — each seated by needs and assets, and quietly co-hosted with a single vetted sponsor. No badges, no panels, no pitching from the door.

08 / The path in

From request to first introduction.

  1. Request

Who you are, what you hold, what you're looking for. Two minutes, no deck.

  2. Conversation

If the fit looks real, we schedule a call. The call is the application.

  3. Onboarding

A few minutes of questions on what you hold and what you're after. Synapse Agent matches on exactly this.

  4. First introductions

Each one arrives with the reason it was made. Names open when both sides accept.

09 / Questions

What people ask before the call.

Who is Synapse for?

Fund managers, limited partners, family offices, lenders, and the connectors who know everyone. Founders are introduced when a member's thesis matches: invited into the room, not pitching at the door.

How do I get in?

Request an invitation: two minutes, no deck. If the fit looks real, we schedule a call. That call is the application, and it's how every member on the register was verified.

What does it cost?

A seat is $399 a month, and the first two months are free. You add a card at the end of onboarding; nothing is charged until the free months are up, and you can cancel before then. No fee is ever a percentage of a deal or contingent on closing. We are not brokers, and nothing we recommend is bought.

How are introductions made?

Each one ties to something you’ve said you're after: raising, deploying, lending, co-investing, buying. Each arrives with the reason it was made, and we would rather send nothing than something thin. Neither name is shown until both sides accept.

Who sees what I share?

What you tell us is read for you alone. Nothing you hold is shown to another member until you say so, and identity opens only when interest is mutual. Deal documents open behind an NDA, marked with the reader's name, and every open is recorded for the member who brought it.

How much of my time does it take?

Very little. Synapse Agent lives in your inbox: proposals arrive by email and a one-word reply acts on them. Onboarding is a few minutes of questions about what you hold and what you're hunting.

What are the dinners?

When a few members who fit each other will be in the same city on the same days, we offer them a private table. Names are shared once three say yes. There are closed-door salons on the calendar too.

Admission

Membership begins with a conversation.

Tell us what you hold and what you’re hunting. If there’s a fit, we’ll reach out to schedule a call — that call is the application.
